Auto Repair in Lorton

Got a flat on my way to work, brought the tire by the shop and they said they might be able to save me from having to buy a whole new tire by removing the nails and sealing the holes. Fixed the tire in under five minutes, took off the spare and put it back in the trunk, put on the fixed tire, my overall visit was around 12 minutes. The staff are very friendly, they were nice to my dogs, and they even gave them biscuits. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends, will come back should I need more work done.

We needed to have the state inspection completed on our vehicles. The staff was amazing! The wait area is very clean, snacks and drinks complementary and the restroom was clean as well! We will be back for sure!! Thank you, Andvanced Auto Tech!

Great service from reputable mechanics not some high school kid trying to figure things out and for reasonable prices. Quiet and comfortable waiting area, to top that off they even sent me pictures of everything checked on my car. As long as they have Jim I will never go anywhere else job small or big. Great team mentality across the board!

1989 was the year my husband John and I started taking our vehicles to Advanced Auto Tech! We have been so pleased with their efficient and HONEST service over the years, that we have recommended numerous family and friends to them. I gotta guy. *Advanced Auto Tech enters stage right* - plot twist - *Advanced Auto Tech is my "gotta guy"* Yes - when I'm not writing the next Steven Spielberg blockbuster weekend box office hit (sample above), I'm driving around in my chariot also known as an Acura ILX (don't be jealous... also, let me merge in front of you, I've had my blinker on for 5 minutes). What started as a desperate need for an inspection on a lowered vehicle a year ago has turned into a love affair fueled by, well, fuel. Located in a tiny corner of Lorton, Virginia nestled among other car repair shops, sits a few bays reserved for the glory that comes from the torque wrenches and 10mm sockets of the techs at Advanced. They offer Virginia state and safety inspections, oil changes, brake fluid changes, transmission fluid changes (of which I witnessed first hand yesterday), tire rotations and alignments, and (among about 5 dozen unlisted services), tire installations. Melissa (the Advanced angel who's voice gently graces your ear when you call in your appointment) responded in less than 30 minutes from my Facebook message (kids these days) with a quote and an offer to see if they could find a better price on the tires I had my eye on. Love that. They then offered to be the shipping destination for my new rubber babies and installed them THE NEXT DAY. Throw in a transmission fluid change and safety inspection and my Acura is feelin' extra transmissiony. They're not stuck in the dark ages like most repair shops either. Half way through your cars mechanical doctors appointment, you get a text with a list of things that are cause for concern (to both your car and your wallet), things to consider, and things that are A-okay - it even comes with pics. No pressure sales when they mention their recommendations, either. I hate upsells - I literally will walk on the other level of Springfield Mall to avoid the moisturizer mall kiosk. But none of that nonsense at Advanced! Just a "Hey - this is an issue, you can get it fixed now or die in a bloody fireball on the way home. Your choice." (totally kidding - my Spielberg tends to slip out sometimes). Ok - enough with my book. I like these guys. I like dealing with them. I hate paying for car repairs. I feel less bad when I do it here.
