Wiper Blades

Hi there. Ben here at Advanced Auto Tech and I want to take a minute to talk about wiper blades. We recommend replacing your vehicle’s wiper blades every year. Wiper blades deteriorate from being exposed to sunlight and this causes them to become stiff. Stiff wiper blades will not wipe your windshield properly. Replacing your wiper blades will help your visibility, especially at nighttime driving. New wiper blades help keep your windshield clear from all the different distractions of lights. Stay Safe! Thank you for watching.

Fluids Coolant

Fluids Coolant

Hi there. Ben here at Advanced Auto Tech. I want to take a minute to talk about fluids in your car and when they should be serviced. For most vehicles, the transmission, brake, coolant, and power steering fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles, and differential service and manual transmission transfer case should be changed out every 75. The reason we do this is that that oil and all other fluids break down over time, and if they're not serviced regularly it can lead to a premature failure of those components. So, please give us a call to schedule an appointment for your vehicle’s fluid service. Thank you very much.

For most vehicles, you can locate your tire pressure on the driver’s side door jamb, but on some vehicles, the tire pressures are located inside the gas tank flap. Another way to maintain your tires is to keep them rotated at every service interval. The reason we do this is that if they're not rotated, they will start to wear unevenly. Tires that are not rotated regularly get cupped and that causes road-noise, and it also can cause some irregular patterns in the ... read more
