UPDATE: Came back for my next annual inspection. I walked in and was addressed by name. The gentleman at the counter had already pulled up my information from the previous year and asked if I had any concerns in addition to the inspection, including brake pads that were getting low the previous year. Again, very quick, very professional , and with a personal touch that just made me feel good to do business with Advanced Auto Tech! GREAT SERVICE!!! Every person with whom I came into contact was friendly, helpful, professional and just... awesome customer service! And they got my state safety inspection and emission test done very quickly. I've spent close to 5k in repairs for my car this year. The office is very disorganized and lack communication skills that result in you paying more. The first time this year they keep calling after issuing the estimate and the bill went from low thousands to two thousands and then it ended up at the four thousands. Then they said they would give me a discount, but then found out something else that was wrong that was more than the discount. That bothered me. But I still brought the car a second time for the windows. They told me it was $770 for both windows and a little under half for one. I told him to do one window. I was still recovering for paying $4,200k. I came back and the bill was $528! He had said a little under half of the $770. Half(50%) is $385. Then he said that he had said a little over half. $528 is not a little over half. $528 is 69% of $770. If I knew that was the price I would have fixed both for $770. I wanted car back so I had to pay. So, I'm not going back. I feel taken advantage off. The mechanical work seems to be good so far(crossing fingers!), but I don't trust a business that continuously changes numbers and miscommunicates.
